Our luxury self contained cottage has all the comforts you would expect. Spacious bedroom with queen sleigh bed, 100% cotton sheets and superior bedding. The en suite marble bathroom incorporates an over size shower. A cosy lounge, well appointed kitchen and adjacent laundry complete the picture. Cottage facilities include TV, DVD, CD player with a selection of CDs. It is serviced daily and totally private.
Whilst self contained, a hearty breakfast is included in the tariff. Other meals, including picnics, are by arrangement. An array of fine NZ wines and beers are available in the cottage for purchase.
What do do
There are many nearby attractions. They include bush and coastal walks from your doorstep, unspoilt swimming beaches, kayaking on the river and fishing trips by arrangement. All of Auckland’s other attractions are in relatively short driving distance. Okura River Cottage with its serenity, beauty and privacy offers a haven from the outside world. Yet it’s convenience to Auckland marks it as a special place.
